Buffalo Trace Medical Arts is ready to be your first point of contact for any health concern. Our board-certified primary care physician, nurse practitioner, and nurse offer comprehensive health screenings, diagnosis, and treatment. 

BTMA provides general care for adults, children, and families. Our major focus is to provide annual physicals and the screening and monitoring of potential health problems. We are here to provide you with exceptional care. Our health care team is readily accessible and will help to coordinate your care with other medical professionals and specialists as appropriate. We encourage you to actively engage in your own health and wellness.

  • List of medications currently prescribed 
  • Proof of guardianship if bringing a child
  • Self Pay patients provide proof of income

Essential Information

Dr. Peter Egan, Medical Director and Internist, received his medical degree from the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 30 years. Dr. Egan specializes in Internal Medicine. He provides medical services at the Brown County VA Healthcare Associates in Georgetown, Ohio, an outpatient clinic of the Cincinnati Veterans Administration Hospital. Previously, he worked as an Internist and Emergency Room doctor for Meadowview Regional Hospital. Dr. Egan and his wife also operated a private practice in Maysville for 4 years.

 

Mrs. Kathy Egan, Nurse Practioner, is a native of Maysville. She received her Associate of Science degree from Maysville Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University Of Kentucky College Of Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the Northern Kentucky University. Mrs. Egan most recently worked as a Nurse Practitioner for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cincinnati and is Board Certified in Family Practice.
